My business accepts all of its payments over the phone so Payment Transaction Systems gave me a moto rate. Note:"MOTO" refers to "mail order-telephone order". Since these transactions don't take place in person, they're considered riskier and carry a premium. "My discount merchant account rate with Payment Transaction Systems are: 2.19% for credit cards (regular credit cards) 1.89% for check cards. $0.30 per transaction fee. a monthly fee of $19.99 (includes a statement fee and a virtual terminal. I did not need to buy a credit card terminal.) We have No monthly minimums, No Batch Fee, No Annual Fee, no set up, no application fee, no AVP. This was the best scenario for my business.
